Each path is 1/7th to 1.5 miles long and includes posted sayings along the way to remind you how deeply connected faith tradition is to nature. Learn. Meditate. Relax. Enjoy. After walking the paths\, come to the peaceful Sacred Circle\, a large 60-foot diameter circle surrounded by towering white pines.” Paths are Hindu\, Jewish\, Moslem\, Bahai\, Friends(Quaker)\, Christian\, Pagan\, Buddhist\, Unitarian Universalist\, Native American\, Druid\, Children’s\, Interfaith Peace Path and access paths\, and a labyrinth. DESCRIPTION:We will meet at the Proctor Skating Rink on the lower end of Olympus Road in Proctor to spot cars\, then drive to the Georgetti Complex in Rutland to start the hike. The Carriage Trail runs through Pine Hill Park and then partly follows an old road from Rutland to Proctor. The trail is 5.1 miles long one-way with moderate elevation gain in the middle. SUMMARY:Fairgrounds West Trails\, East Poultney
DESCRIPTION:Starting on the Ringmaster Trail\, we will connect to a couple other trails for some variety and a view from Big Top on this beautiful trail system featuring woods\, streams and abundant bird life. 5 miles moderate. (in order not to cause erosion\, if the trails are very muddy another location may be substituted).

SUMMARY:Merck Forest\, Rupert
DESCRIPTION:Hike the Masters Trail on the back side of Merck\, then possibly on to a view. With 30 miles of trails there are many \npossibilities\, so mileage will depend on which we choose\, likely 5-8 miles. Moderate with some steep bits. Snowshoes or \ngrippers may be needed. (dogs must be leashed in the barn and pasture areas)
