SUMMARY:Peru Peak\, Mt\, Tabor
DESCRIPTION:We’ll start at the Griffith Lake Trailhead on South End Road in Mount Tabor and ascend the Lake Trail to Griffith Lake\, then follow the Long Trail / Appalachian Trail south to the top of Peru Peak. Quite the pitch at a 2700-foot elevation gain over about 5 miles; round trip mileage will be 10 miles minimum. Possible extensions to Styles Peak or Baker Peak if the group is willing. Contact hike leader for meeting place and time.
