DESCRIPTION:Join us for wonderful\, if crowded\, views of Lake George and the southern Adirondacks. We’ll start at the trailhead on Pike Brook Road near Hulett’s Landing and climb to the summit of Black Mountain\, then take the southern loop past the Black Mountain Ponds and Lapland Pond. 1200-ft. elevation gain\, 6.6-mile round trip. Carpooling will be necessary to preserve space at the trailhead. Contact hike leader for meeting place and time.
